ERP and shop floor systems
Usually: SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Epicor Kinetic, Genius ERP, NetSuite, SYSPRO, Odoo
What it holds. Item master, bills of material, routings, work orders, purchase orders, on-hand stock by location, standard costs and job history.
How we connect. Read through the vendor API where one exists, otherwise a nightly export into a read-only replica. Writes go back through the API on approved records only.
Warehouse, shipping and EDI
Usually: Fishbowl, Acumatica, ShipStation, Descartes, SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce
What it holds. Bin locations, lot and serial numbers, pick lists, carrier rates and tracking, and the retail document set: 850 orders, 856 shipping notices, 810 invoices.
How we connect. API for the warehouse and carrier side, SFTP file drops for the EDI side, and a webhook on shipment confirmation where the platform offers one.
Quoting, CRM and accounting
Usually: Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, QuickBooks Online, Sage 50, Xero
What it holds. Customer records, quotes, price lists, credit terms, accounts receivable ageing, invoices and payment history.
How we connect. Scoped read access through the API, plus a nightly export of the receivable ageing so reporting does not hammer the live ledger during the day.
